1. Scope
These Terms of Sale govern subscription to and use of the App’s Premium offer.
Status at this draft: the Premium offer is described and prepared but in-app payment is not yet enabled in production. No purchase can be completed until in-app purchases (IAP) are published on the stores.
Out of scope for this version:
- No web sales or card payment on a publisher website;
- No Stripe billing for the mobile subscription (Stripe may be considered later for other channels but is not the payment method described here).
Payment will be made exclusively through Google Play (Android) and/or the App Store (iOS), under those platforms’ terms.
2. Premium offer description
The free tier lets you use the App’s pillars with caps (notebook recipe count, catalogue size, planning horizon, shopping lines, cooking mode, etc.).
Premium is intended to raise or remove those caps and unlock additional features, including:

Exact figures shown at purchase prevail over this table. There are no monthly quotas that reset: only stock caps or time windows apply.
3. Price and billing
Target public price (incl. VAT where applicable):
- €4.99 / month or €6.99 / month (final price on stores);
- Annual subscription: equivalent to 10 months of the monthly price (2 months free).
The actual price is the one shown on the store listing at purchase, in your store account currency.
Billing: automatic renewal each period (monthly or annual) until cancellation, under Apple or Google rules.
VAT: collected and remitted by Apple or Google as merchant of record. The seller invoices the platform excluding VAT under applicable rules.
4. Subscription
Subscription is completed in the App via the store’s in-app purchase:
- Android: Google Play Billing;
- iOS: In-App Purchase (StoreKit).
By confirming purchase, you accept these Terms of Sale and the relevant store terms.
5. Right of withdrawal
For digital content supplied immediately after purchase, the 14-day withdrawal right may be excluded if you expressly request immediate supply and acknowledge waiving that right — wording to be validated legally depending on country of sale.
Refunds are otherwise subject to Apple and Google policies, available from your store account.
6. Term, renewal, and cancellation
The subscription runs for the chosen period (month or year) and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours (iOS) or per Google Play deadlines before the end of the current period.
How to cancel:
- iOS: Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions;
- Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. No pro-rata refund is guaranteed by the publisher beyond legal obligations and store rules.
7. Effects of subscription end (downgrade)
Under the documented product model:
Retained:
- Recipes created, imported, or kept in your notebook (even above the free cap) remain readable;
- Existing private products remain readable if above the free cap (no new additions until you free space).
Removed or restricted:
- Access to the large recipe and product catalogues → back to the small catalogues;
- Pantry: products adopted outside the small catalogue are no longer visible or usable for “Makeable” filtering;
- Planning: meals beyond 7 future days or history beyond 7 days no longer accessible per product rules;
- Shopping list: capped at 40 active lines;
- Product overlays above the cap: catalogue names restored;
- Cooking mode: 10 recipe limit;
- Customization (tints, validated category colors, aisle order): defaults restored.
These rules aim for transparency and fair conversion; they will be enforced server-side before IAP activation.
8. Payment and security
Payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google. The publisher does not receive your card number.
9. Changes to offer or pricing
The publisher may evolve Premium features or prices for new subscriptions. For active subscriptions, price changes are subject to store consent rules (notice and optional acceptance).
