1. Purpose

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the App, a mobile and web application for capturing, organizing, viewing, cooking, meal planning, and grocery lists around personal recipes and a shared catalogue.

The App is not a social network, a public content-sharing service, a nutrition coach, or a medical or dietary service.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the App, you accept these Terms without reservation. If you do not accept them, you must not use the App.

3. Eligibility and age

The App is intended for persons with legal capacity under applicable law.

• Use by minors: the App may be used for family meal planning, but registration and account management should, in principle, be carried out or authorized by a parent or legal guardian, depending on age and local rules.
• Recommended minimum age: 13 years to create an account independently, subject to the law of your country of residence. Below that age, use must be under adult supervision.

The publisher may suspend an account if there is doubt about the user’s age or identity.

4. Description of the service

The App includes in particular:

• Recipes: personal notebook, shared catalogue, import (URL, photo, manual entry), cooking mode, export;
• Pantry (“Ma réserve”): simplified “I have it / I don’t have it” product tracking, barcode scan;
• Meal planning: meals scheduled within limits depending on your plan;
• Shopping: dynamic list linked to planning and pantry.

Some features may be limited on the free tier and expanded on a paid Premium plan (see Terms of Sale). Limits may evolve; the App will show applicable limits.

4.1 Artificial intelligence

The App may use AI services to structure recipe content from:

• a web page whose URL you provide;
• text extracted by OCR from a photo taken or imported on your device.

There is no automatic generation of recipes from scratch: you always validate the draft before saving. AI output may contain errors; you remain responsible for saved content.

4.2 No social network

The App does not allow:

• publishing your recipes to the public;
• following other users;
• commenting, liking, or sharing a news feed.

Content marked “public” in the technical database refers to the shared catalogue managed by the publisher. This catalogue is readable without an account via the API (app public key) in addition to being visible to signed-in users in the App. It is not a public user profile or social network.

4.3 Images and media

Recipe photos displayed generally come from external URLs that you or the publisher provide. In the current version, the App does not host these images on its own servers: they are loaded from the remote source.

5. User account

Registration uses an email address and password (Supabase Auth). OAuth sign-in (Google, Apple) may be added later.

You agree to:

• provide accurate information;
• keep your credentials confidential;
• notify the publisher if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. User content

You retain your rights to recipes, notes, and customizations you create or import.

By using the App, you grant the publisher a limited licence to host, back up, sync, and display that content solely to provide the service, including on Supabase infrastructure described in the Privacy Policy.

You warrant that you have the necessary rights to imported content (text, photos, URLs) and you must not upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights, or attempt to bypass security or usage limits.

7. Shared catalogue and scan

When a barcode is scanned and recognized, the corresponding product may be added to the shared catalogue (is_public), according to App rules and your subscription.

Private products you create manually (without barcode) remain tied to your account.

8. Availability, offline use, and sync

The App aims for smooth offline use for data already synced. Multi-device sync requires an Internet connection and third-party infrastructure.

The publisher does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may perform maintenance or updates.

9. Intellectual property of the App

The App, its design, UI text, icons, and code are protected. Unauthorized reproduction or extraction is prohibited.

The shared recipe and product catalogue is provided under a usage licence as part of the service, without transfer of intellectual property to the user.

10. Free and Premium offers

A free tier with caps (recipe count, products, planning horizon, etc.) and a paid Premium tier are described in the Terms of Sale and internal product documentation.

At the date of this draft, in-app payment is not yet enabled in production; the Terms of Sale describe the intended offer before in-app purchases are connected.

11. Suspension and termination

You may delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete my account. Confirmation requires re-entering your password. Deletion is immediate and irreversible: personal recipes, pantry, meal plan, shopping lists and profile are erased; this device’s offline cache is cleared. Public catalogue products already shared (scan) remain in the catalogue, unlinked from your account.

The publisher may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, fraud, abusive use of AI imports, or authority requests.

12. Liability

The App is a personal organization tool. It does not guarantee the nutritional, allergen, or food-safety accuracy of recipes (including from AI or the catalogue).

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher’s liability is limited to direct damages proven, excluding indirect loss or data for which you did not perform an exported backup (JSON/PDF depending on plan).

13. Changes

These Terms may be updated. For material changes, notice will be shown in the App or by email. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

Governing law: French law.

In case of dispute, the parties will seek an amicable solution before legal action. Failing that, jurisdiction of the French courts [city / district — to be specified upon sole proprietorship registration].
